INFLIBNET Centre, Gandhinagar, Gujarat is organising Three Days 'Advanced Training Programme on Shodhganga' on December 14-16, 2016 at INFLIBNET Centre, Gandhinagar, Gujarat,India.
The main objective of this Workshop is to enable the participants to impart knowledge on creating and managing the Institutional repositories. The Workshop includes lectures as well as extensive “hands-on” training, so as to provide both theoretical base and practical skills to the participants. The Workshop will present comprehensive overview of Shodhganga to provide opportunity to the participants to exchange ideas and enrich their respective programmes on digital repositories and to formulate policies based on the input and discussions of experts for deterring plagiarism in academic sector.Being a University/College Librarian working with researcher, you may come across with many issues related to creating and managing ETDs and IRs This is a good opportunity to brush up as well as gets trained as a professional in such an area.

Training for handling and maintaining Shodhganga
Technical Issues related to ETD Implementation, Digitisation and Access Management;
Introduction to DSpace and Building IR;
Theses Submission in Shodhganga and Hands on;
Browse, Search and Download: Use and Usage;
Back up/Archive/Restoring of IR and to Incorporate Altmetrics in the ETD;
Anti-Plagiarism: Policy and Products and Hands on for using Anti Plagiarism Software. etc.
